Three-week online class | Finding the right perspective

Telling a story well is all about finding the right perspective. In this class we’ll look at various ways perspective is used in fiction, how different techniques create drastically different effects, and how you can use perspective in your work to create impactful stories.

Course takeaways:

  • You’ll be able to identify different perspectives used in fiction, and how they’re applied to create different tensions on the page.

  • Exercises where you’ll use perspective to change the impact of scenes through slight shifts in point of view.

  • How shifting perspectives within one piece of writing can supercharge stale stories and make them more inventive.

This class is suitable for writers at all levels. Classes take place online via Google Meet.

Cost €150. Includes three 90-minutes classes taking place Thursday, November 10, 17, and 24 between 7:00PM and 8:30PM CET.
