Four-week online class | Finding your voice by writing what you know

Writing what you know is one of those writing truisms we’ve all heard at some point or another. Some people take is as an ultimatum—that you can only write about the things that you’ve experienced personally. Really, writing what you know is about listening to that voice inside yourself called belief, and letting that voice spill onto the page. In this class, we’ll focus on how to write what we know, and how writing what we know allows us to find our true voice.

Course takeaways:

  • Exercises and prompts that will help you determine what you can and perhaps should be writing about.

  • How to honestly translate your voice to that page.

  • One polished piece of writing.

This class is suitable for writers at any level. Classes take place online via Google Meet.

Cost €200. Includes four 90-minutes classes taking place Thursday, October 6, 13, 20, and 27 between 7:00PM and 8:30PM CET.
